Checking Availability

Availability is a fluid process. Many brides may be looking to book the same day, particularly in the months of March-May and September-November. Therefore, I recommend booking your hair and makeup artist as soon as possible. Often times, hair and makeup is booked 6-12+ months in advance.  The only way to lock in your wedding date is with a signed contract and non-refundable retainer.

Pricing

Pricing will be tailored to your specific needs, taking in to consideration the number and type of services being booked as well as the location of your wedding. Your pricing guide will also include any relevant travel or parking fees.   Valet parking is required for all city and hotel locations. Parking at remote locations requires close proximity to the bride’s styling location due to the amount of gear being loaded and unloaded for your services and for stylist safety.

Preview Sessions

The Preview Session in important for both you and me. It allows you to see what your hair and makeup will look like in advance. The preview will allow me to assess your skin and hair type, make recommendations for skin and hair care leading up to the wedding, and allow us to collaborate on your final look.   Please plan to come to your preview appointment alone and note that children are not allowed. If you wish to share your result with family or friends, please do so at the conclusion of our appointment. I will aid in photographing all angles of the style.

Appointment Prep

Makeup appointments, please arrive with cleansed, moisturized skin. If you plan to have your eyebrows groomed, please do so no closer than 3 days before your appointment(s) to avoid any skin irritation. ​ Hair appointments, please arrive with clean, dry hair. Avoid adding any products or sprays to your hair / wearing a bun or ponytail on the day of your appointment. This will help to prevent product build-up and creases.   Damp or wet hair can not be styled, so be sure to blow dry your hair before your arrival. Please do not use a straightening iron or curling iron after blow drying. Please plan to bring all accessories including but not limited to clip-in extensions, veil, etc.

I strongly recommend booking for your wedding date as soon as possible. Many brides are booking 6-12+ months in advance. There may be demand for your particular date. Booking with a signed contract and non-refundable retainer is the only way to guarantee your date for hair and makeup.   *If you will be using an event planner, this is the time to connect me with them so that we can ensure a sufficient amount of time for your hair and makeup.
